Steel Framing

Steel frame is a building technique with a “skeleton frame” of vertical steel columns and horizontal I-beams, constructed in a rectangular grid to support the floors, roof and walls.

Spray Foam

Spray foam is a chemical product created by two materials, isocyanate and polyol resin, which react when mixed with each other and expand up to 30-60 times its liquid volume after it is sprayed in place.

Blown Insulation

It is commonly available in either a cellulose composition, or fiberglass. Quite an effective option in the attic and/or roof cavity, both products provide comparable R-Value where installed.

Batt Insulation

The most common form of home insulation is “Batt and Roll” or “Blanket” insulation. It is generally made of fiberglass and is the least expensive way to insulate a home.

Drywall

Drywall is a panel made of calcium sulfate dehydrate (gypsum), with or without additives, typically extruded between thick sheets of facer and backer paper, used in the interior of walls and ceilings.

Tape

Joint compound is a white powder of primarily gypsum dust mixed with water to form a mud the consistency of cake frosting, which is used with paper or fiber joint tape to seal joints between sheets of drywall.
